Bearing design continues to evolve
Bearing sealing systems are also evolving. The design is constantly being updated to reduce friction and lower operating temperatures, thereby extending grease life and maintenance intervals.
Light rail vehicles: 14 t , High-speed vehicles : 17 t ( new type ) ・ Heavy-duty subway cars and EMUs : 18 ts • Locomotives and trucks: 25 t or less ・ Heavy-duty wagons: 32 t to 40 t.
At present, the axle weight of domestic high-speed rail is generally required to be within 20T, so the requirements are not very harsh.
Then about the wheel diameter, we generally have default values.
High-speed, EMU and bus vehicles: 750 to 950 mm.
Locomotives: 1 000 to 1 300 mm.
Wagons: 900 to 1 000 mm.
450 to 450 mm (transport trailer, semi-trailer or container truck - intermodal).
