Selection of lubricating oil for pulley in shower room
The selection of lubricating oil is basically the same as that of lubricating grease, pulley in shower room mainly based on the viscosity required to provide sufficient lubrication for the bearing at the operating temperature. The viscosity of the lubricating oil decreases with the increase of temperature.
In order to form a lubricating oil film of sufficient thickness between the raceway and the contact surface of the rolling element, the viscosity of the oil shall ensure that the minimum viscosity will not be lost at the operating temperature. Under normal working conditions, the minimum kinematic viscosity of various bearings shall not be less than 15mm2/s.
Mineral oil without any additives is suitable for bearing lubrication under general working conditions. Lubricants and synthetic oils containing additives are suitable for special working conditions. However, the use of lubricating oil with additives will bring certain negative effects to bearing parts, such as corrosion.
Generally speaking, when the bearing speed is high, the lubricating oil with low viscosity shall be selected. When the bearing bears heavy load, the lubricating oil with higher viscosity shall be used.
Common lubricating oils include machine oil, high-speed machine oil, turbine oil, compressor oil, transformer oil pulley in shower room and cylinder oil.
